The building project was created by architects of American company SOM, one of the leading architecture companies in the world. The project is located in the heart of the new capital at the junction of Dostyk and Turkestan Streets.

The building will complete the architectural complex enchasing the southeast corner of the Baiterek monument. Its prominent location will help the project to become a new landmark and a popular destination in Astana, offering direct views towards the Baiterek Tower and a unique visitor experience.


The several stages were carried out for the installation of foundations and underground parts of the building:

Stage 1 - Diaphragm wall done with total perimeter length of 515 m and 14.5 m depth;
Stage 2 – ground excavation in the volume of – 153 000 м3 down to the mark of -9.5 m from the ground surface;
Stage 3 - installation of foundations consisting of 285 reinforced concrete borehole piles under two towers with a diameter of 1 meter and a length of 18-24 meters made of B35 class sulfate-resistant concrete;
Stage 4 – Underground water drainage done under the foundation and on the perimeter going to sump pits and manholes.
Stage 5 - waterproofing application on the blinding concrete;
Stage 6 – B50 grade reinforced concrete mat foundation with height varies from 120 to 250cm.
Stage 7 - formation of external reinforced concrete monolithic retaining walls around the perimeter and the stiffening core of the towers;
Stage 8 - waterproofing and thermal insulation of the walls of the underground structures.
Waterproofing of the constructions was carried out jointly with the German company “BASF Construction Chimicats Europe AG”, the leading enterprise in the industry. The works were carried out using the latest waterproofing and insulation materials under constant control over the quality of the works performed.


The reinforced concrete structure is made of high tensile steel and the concrete strength is higher for one grade than required.
The towers are formed from waffle monolithic slabs used as a constructive solution for large spans.

A great job has been done to make facade aesthetic, functional and persistent to all climate changes. It is well-known that wind climate conditions are almost main challenge for any building in the capital. At first the German company Wacker Ingenieure which is one of the wind engineering leaders has conducted wind testing of our building model in a special wind tunnel.
The results of these tests were taken into consideration during facade design work. The designers (AFC, Austria) paid special attention to materials; they chose only exclusive, and unique green materials. And modern glass from American company Guardian saves costs on heating and lighting due to low heat transmission and high level of light penetration.
The Turkish company Metal Yapi was chosen to implement these ideas. Metal Yapi has developed and patented some unique technologies of aluminum profiles production especially for our project.

The facade is made of “Limestone”, natural stone, the fabric of which consists of layers of organic materials extinct since the Jurassic. It is imported from Germany.
