Talan Towers is general partner of Design Dialogue
Talan Towers hosted Design Dialogue Kazakhstan, an international conference on the design and management of the modern office, at The Ritz-Carlton in Almaty on October 28.
The Design Dialogue conference was attended by over 300 architects, designers, developers, builders and management companies, as well as tenants from Kazakhstan, Russia and foreign countries. The experts present discussed the challenges and directions of changes in the commercial and office real-estate markets in an era of low prices for raw materials; new designs and scenarios in terms of office work; modern solutions in design, technology and the management of workspaces; the competitive advantages of business centers; and the complexities of leasing arrangements.
Speakers and participants in the interdisciplinary discussions included Erlan Ospanov of Verny Capital, Sergio Gomez of Pringle Brandon Perkins + Will, Alexey Kandidov of Microsoft Corporation, Ammar Nahya of Jain Engineering Consultants International, Denis Sokolov of Cushman & Wakefield, Raushan Baypakova of Ambition, Bayan Kuatova of Colliers International Kazakhstan, Elena Krasil'nikova of KPMG, Lukasz Skowronski of Global Development, Alexey Kuchvalsky of JLL and other well-known and highly respected experts.
Throughout the day, an exhibition of solutions by leading players in the market was open to guests attending the event. The leading players included companies such as Talan Towers, Herman Miller, Dauphin, V-Time, Interface, Interstuhl and Milliken.
A special exhibition space was devoted to projects entered for the Kazakhstan Interior Awards. The awards ceremony took place in the evening at the end of the conference.
