ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN
Architecture

The design of the Talan Towers complex was undertaken by the American company SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP) – one of the world’s largest companies in the fields of architecture, interior design, engineering and urban planning. The company was founded as far back as 1936. Since then, it has undertaken more than 10,000 projects in fifty countries – an impressive number. High-rise construction is one of SOM’s key specialities. The company is responsible for such world-famous skyscrapers as Burj Khalifa (Dubai, UAE); the John Hancock Center (Chicago, USA); the Trump Tower (New York, USA); and the World Trade Center (Manhattan, new York, USA).

Hotel

The hotel’s interior was designed by the Richmond International company, which was founded in 1966 and has a strong reputation for designing fashionable residences and exclusive hotels and restaurants. The company has created many projects for  The Ritz-Carlton hotels in various parts of the world. In the capital, local color has tastefully been incorporated in the design. Only the finest quality marble and wood are employed in the design of the building’s interior. The natural beauty of these materials mean that The Ritz-Carlton, Astana, is now viewed by many experts as a masterpiece of modern architecture.

Office spaces

Pringle Brandon Perkins +Will, one of the most successful worldwide architectural bureau in the UK and the EMEA region (the countries of Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and specialists in the design of office interiors and commercial architecture. The firm has worked on office interiors for Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, Siemens, Unilever and the Bank of China. The designers aimed to develop a space with a relaxed feel. To that end, part of the interior is finished with natural materials (stone and high-class wood) which “warm up” the space. Experts recognize that, because the selected design is versatile, convenient and beautifully achieved, it is not only modern now but will remain so for many years to come.

Shopping gallery EMPORIUM

The key concept behind Talan Towers is to create a lifestyle, a meeting place where one can spend all day long in meetings, leisure activities or shopping. Callison, the British creative architectural agency, transformed the Emporium luxury shopping gallery to create a dynamic space, where each piece of work reflects the philosophy of luxury and hospitality. For this reason, planning and design of the gallery meets international standards for retail space.
